A&B Clinical Research was established in 2018 by Dr. Sean Daneshmand and Dr. Arij Faksh, who share a commitment to improving the mental and physical health of women with compassion, respect, and integrity through innovation, education, and prevention.

A&B Clinical Research is patient-centered driven and is committed to conducting every study with integrity and respect for all of our patients. Our clinical staff includes highly qualified professionals with many years of clinical research experience.

The research studies we conduct are focused on women’s health to further advance medical treatments, providing the highest level of patient care and quality study data. Every study is performed under strict clinical practices and FDA regulations to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Meet The Doctors

Dr. Sean Daneshmand

Chief Medical Officer and Founder

Dr. Sean Daneshmand is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (High Risk Pregnancy). Dr. Daneshmand graduated from New York Medical College and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at University of California, Los Angeles and sub-specialty fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at University of California, San Diego. Currently, Dr. Daneshmand is the Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Scripps Health. He is President and Founder of a non-profit foundation, Miracle Babies, earning the distinction of CNN Hero of the Week in 2010. Dr. Daneshmand has been nominated as a “Top Doctor in San Diego” as published in San Diego Magazine continuously since 2008. In addition, Dr. Daneshmand has conducted clinical research for over 15 years and he has worked closely with Pharmaceutical companies in an effort to improve women’s health. Dr. Daneshmand founded A&B Clinical Research in 2018, a comprehensive clinical research site focused on women’s health clinical trials.

Dr. Arij Faksh

Medical Director and Co-Founder

Dr. Arij Faksh is a practicing board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and Maternal-Fetal Medicine sub-specialist at Scripps Health. She completed her medical training at University of New England, residency at Maine Medical Center, and fellowship at Mayo Clinic. She has vast research experience through her fellowship and her participation as sub-investigator in women’s health clinical research studies. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and she serves on the Education and Patient Safety and Quality committees for the Society for Maternal-Fetal-Medicine. Dr. Faksh is passionate about the health of women and children and understands the importance of participation in clinical trials to make advances in women’s health.
